Money, Trash, Homes header

Hey and Happy New Year (when do you stop saying HNY?),

The following is a little ditty about what we do at Cues and why we do it. Fun fact -- we're called Cues because of our initials (Quentin and Steve == QS).

Enjoy.

In December we paid each recycler an average of $4 to sustainably get rid of their stuff. We take anything, unless it's wet and weird.

The climate problem is an energy problem. The easiest way to remember what uses the most energy is to remember the four “Cs”: cows, cars, cooling and crap*. At Cues, we think about the “crap”. Crap can be tied to about 71 kilowatt-hours per day, or 12% of all greenhouse gases.

New year, new you. Why not some fanciness with your very own coasters? Just grab some excess tiles. Add some felt pads. And "voila" -- coasters. Too focused on your art to do this? Great. We have a whole bunch ready to be rehomed at our shop.
